A morning in Limassol

Design briefs are usually written in offices. Ours gets written between 6am and 9am, walking.

The light arrives before the heat

Limestone goes pink for about twenty minutes. Shutters are still closed. The only sounds are scooters and a coffee machine somewhere behind a doorway.

That hour is the whole palette: cream, deep brown, olive, a faded blue somewhere near the sea. We did not invent it, we just wrote it down.

Clothes for a climate, not a lookbook

Anything worn here has to survive salt, sweat, and being thrown over a chair. Heavy cotton works because it dries fast and forgives everything. Silver works because it does not mind the sea.

In the DNA, not on the forehead

You will not find a map of the island printed across our chest. The island is in the weight, the colours and the way things are made — quietly.
